First Product Empties for 2014

So many products become my absolute holy grail favorites & cause me to repurchase them every time they get to the last milliliter.
Right now I'm proud to say I've hit my first round of product empties for 2014.
I may be running a little late with this post but because I switch up my routine & products so much, they tend to last a lot longer.

L'oreal True Match: This is my absolute favorite drugstore foundation. Although Australia is limited on the colour range for this product, I was able to find my perfect match for my skin tone.
I've heard many different opinions on this from not being blendable, not being full coverage & becoming too streaky.
In my opinion though I must disagree, not everybody's skin reacts to products the same.
Before & after application I always have the need to blot the t-zone area for excess oil, once this foundation is set with a light powder I find I get the perfect glowing look with an even skin tone. Coverage is medium to full which is exactly how I want it to be especially for my long work days. I will continue to repurchase this until another HG foundation is matched to me.

Models Prefer Mattifying Primer: I've already posted this in my All About Primers blog post & how much I loved this product. This is perfect for summer & budget wise a great choice.
The slight sandy texture melts onto the skin & fills in my fine lines & yes the occasional wrinkle!!
During the summer months with the extreme heat that hit Melbourne I noticed more times than none that my t-zone, nose & chin were oily hot spots. I attempted blotting & using a mattifying powder but to no avail. This primer was incredible at giving a great matte application base before foundation. I've always remained positive about this product & will continue to recommend it.
My only downside is I hope that the makers will fix the packaging as it was one of the most difficult products to get out of its tube.

Beauty Essentials Brush Cleaner: Another item I have become obsessed with for my fortnightly brush cleaning routine is this little guy.
I've tried a bunch of various brands for brush cleaning. I do love my Mac brush cleaner (don't get me wrong) but I find myself having to use more of the product making it disappear quicker.
This brush cleaner has a thick type consistency making you only need a pea sized amount to clean even the most dense brushes. The ease of cleaning is amazing as the shampoo goes through & removes all traces of makeup from every bristle/hair.
A bottle lasts me up to 4 months & for less than $10 a bottle at Priceline its a bargain.
