Raid my stash....the big clean up & clean out

So a couple of weeks ago I decided on doing a whole clean out of my beauty room & make it uncluttered.
I turned up my ipod & started up the cleaning process.& discovered new & old products that had gone missing in my months of hoarding.
For the all the #ausbeautybabes out there that already follow me, you've seen how my shopping addiction never ceases & on many occasions I have gone to the shops looking for headache tablets & walked out with a couple of new lippies & maybe a foundation. (come on admit it, you've do this too).
So with the mounting products stacked up in my draws I decided a big clean up & clean out was needed.

I managed to rid myself of atleast half of the unused, used & slightly old products that I had accumulated over the past 4 months.

Today I've decided to create a new blog segment called 'Raid My Stash'.
This means I'll go through the products I have left & select 5 items that have been sadly neglected (cue the violin music).
I have to use all 5 products within the week starting from Monday to make sure they aren't going to waste.

Anastasia Brow Gel

I received this sample product from Sephora & I sadly have been neglecting many of my sample products lately. I also received another one in my May Bella Box that I'll have to end up using.
This week, I will give this ago & attempt to use it every single day.

Chi Chi eyeshadow 'Funky Town'

This is my only Chi Chi eyeshadow single that I own. I've heading into Target many times & swatched the shadows but always forget to buy any because I'm not big on having single shadows floating around in my draws.
This has five colours in it & this week I will use this a couple of times for different subtle looks.
Swatching the shades I was so pleased with how pigmented & soft they were.
Can't wait to give this a go.

(Left without flash- Right with flash)

Until next time....

  1. this is such a great idea, it can be easy to neglect older products, especially when you buy new ones and go through a phase of exclusively using them!! ChiChi isn't a brand we heard enough people talk about!! We absolutely love their eyeshadows, especially their mineral shadow in "Shopaholic", besides the naming perfectly describing us, it's a gorgeous everyday colour!!

    1. Yes! I most definitely agree... Chi Chi are very underrated but becoming more & more popular.

Very happy with how my trials are going this week.
