Baking with Tarlie: 12Health Muffins with Raw Cacao Pana Chocolate


Following on from the success of my previous 'Baking with Tarlie' post (click here) I thought I'd go with another baking post with this time making a delicious but healthy afternoon snack.

I'm currently on my five day break from work & spending my time getting inspired for new blog posts & discovering all sorts of new foods to devour.......

If you haven't heard of 12Health & love good, hearty healthy food then your missing out!
They provide various muffin & cake mixes readily available to whip up a quick batch of delicious treats. All their gourmet mixes are healthy, nutritious & made with the highest quality organic ingredients....plus they taste incredible.

Starting off with only a few ingredients:


2 Eggs
2/3 Cup of Milk (I use soy milk)
70-80ml Coconut Oil (I use refined which I melt as needed)

For toppings you can use what ever you desire, I chose Pana Chocolate Raw Cacao, Raw Almonds & Strawberries


Preheat oven to 180c
Line your muffin tray & set aside
In a bowl I whisked the eggs, soy milk & oil for 1 minute
In a separate bowl I placed the muffin mix & choc chips (provided in 12Health mix) & made a well in the centre
From there I poured in wet mix & gently mixed all ingredients together until just combined
Pour into muffin trays & bake for 16 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean
Leave to cool for 5 minutes on a wire rack & then place on your favourite toppings
I used my Pana Chocolate which melted onto the muffin & made it all gooey (yum)



These are so simple & far better for you then any supermarket cake mix you can buy & they make the most delicious afternoon treat with a good cup of tea!
