A Day at Melbourne Central

So yesterday I headed up to the city with the intention to only buy two normal though I went a little overboard!

Plus side of Melbourne is all the stores available, down wallet seems to get a battering everytime I explore the city.

Here's what I picked up

Soleil Tan De Chanel
An item that's been on my wish list for awhile now & I'm glad I've finally crossed it off.

Tom Ford - Bruised Plum LE
I purchased my first Tom Ford item when I attended the Estée Lauder corporate event....basically now I want everything in the collection. This lipstick is Limited Edition & absolutely stunning with its deep plum colour, the photo clearly doesn't do it justice.

MAC Pro Long Wear Concealer - NW20
It seems my NW25 is too dark but the NW20 is to light so I'm mixing them together to get my winter shade.

Aesop Hand Balm - Mandarine rind & Rosemary leaf
My (HG) hand cream to keep my fingers soft & supple, I always have atleast one tube of this around the house.

Of course I couldn't leave without a couple of samples:

MAC & NARS (details on these will be coming up)

Little Chanel Perfume Sample

Also popped into H&M (it's the one place I can't not go into when shopping at Melbourne Central).

A nice extra thick coat with faux leather sleeves as the weather has dropped lower than normal lately, an extra long & thick scarf & a entra long boyfriend jersey.

Last stop was a quick peek into Sportsgirl....I unintentionally walked out with another pair of boots!

So yesterday was amazing, I can never complain about shopping (a favorite pass time). I noticed I was spending quite a lot on a ton of smaller drugstore items lately & then not using them so I've started to slow down & mostly put the money toward more high end products that I love.
My shopping day helped to cross atleast two things off my buy list!

Tonight I'll have a new post for everyone with my thoughts on the new L'Oreal foundation & how it compares to my (HG) True Match.
