Afternoon Sweet Cravings

I have truly become obsessive with all these raw recipes as of late.
It's where most of my funds go each week, I do work out daily (especially now that summer is approaching) but having a sweet tooth is my down fall.

I do my best to stay away from Supermarkets, Bakeries and Lolly shops when possible.
It's not easy, especially with hundreds of posts daily on Instagram and Facebook showing the best places to get sweets in Melbourne (cupcake central for one).

Today I have found something that's cut half my time, adding a little bit of my own favorites (raw or dairy free chocolate) I am back in the kitchen with 30 minutes to spare to make something that will last me a week when those afternoon sugar cravings hit.

Fit Mixes created by Sally over at Fit Foodie are your answer to having no time but wanting to keep up a fairly healthy diet.

Vegan, Gluten Free and made from natural ingredients to give your body a quick hit of whole foods and protein to get you going.

Here's my own take and creation using Chocolate and Chia and Fit Mixes Vanilla and Coconut Mix

Williams Dairy Free Chocolate Bar (crushed)
Water
Honey

Toppings
Raw Cashews (chopped finely)
Coconut Oil
Raw Cacao Powder

Basically all you do is mix the ingredients together, roll up into balls and pop in the freezer for half an hour.
For the chocolate coating I added four tablespoons coconut oil and 3 tablespoons of Cacao Powder into a cup, mix slightly and pop in the microwave for 2 minutes until hot and melted. Mix thoroughly again and let cool for 10-15 minutes.
Once cooled I take out the cookie dough balls, dip them in the chocolate sauce and place on a tray with baking paper into the fridge til the chocolate coating is hard.

With the other toppings I used the same as above then rolled them in the chopped cashews or roll in Cacao powder for an extra chocolate hit

So delicious, easy and I am not kidding when I say that if you get cravings, these little guys will take all of that away!
